Banyumala Twin Waterfall

Banyumala Twin Waterfalls are located in the North of Bali in Wanagiri village, district of Sukasada, Buleleng Regency. The waterfall not frequently visited as other waterfalls makes Banyumala Waterfall still maintains their natural beauty. Banyumala called as twin waterfall due to their two big water flow on the waterfall, but actually it is more like a hundred tiny waterfalls cascading the cliff wall. If you are looking for beautiful waterfall and less of people, Banyumala Waterfall will be the perfect place. Your journey will be surrounded by lush green forest with big trees and coffee plantations. Laid in at the bottom of a valley the waterfall flow to a pool that was formed naturally. With pool depth about 2 meters, you will feel safe to swim in clear and calm water.

How to get Banyumala Twin Waterfall :

To reach the Banyumala twin waterfall, we need to go through the main road of Denpasar - Singaraja. Need about 1 Hour 45 minutes from south Bali or 1 Hour 30 minutes by car if you start from Ubud. Once you reached Munduk village, going trough the road of Wanagiri alongside the Lake of Buyan and you will find a big sign of Banyumala Twin Waterfall where we turn off to get to the parking area. From the car park you will do short hiking about 15 minutes to the waterfall.

Best time to visit Banyumala Twin Waterfall :

Banyumala Waterfall open for all day, but recommend to visit during the day about 10 Am. When the sun is high, the water less cold, so you can soak on the water little bit longer. The waterfall offer the nature beauty at every corner, so many different angles for visitor to capture the photo.

Entrance fee to Banyumala Twin Waterfall :

The local community helps in providing the access to the waterfall and infrastructure such as the wooden bridge and changing room. To improve the infrastructure the local community applies the entrance fee IDR 30,000 per person (about $2).
