Tukad Cepung Waterfall

Tukad Cepung Waterfall is one of the waterfall that you might put on your travel checklist during holiday in Bali Island. This waterfall considers as the new tourist attraction in Bali, but getting popular on the Instagram. Tukad Cepung waterfall come with unique views, guarded by the massive cliff make it one of the most photogenic waterfalls in the Island. Another attraction is the green valley with fantastic view of the river and nature landscape. To get the waterfall need to walk for about 15 minutes from the parking area. The visitors can make beautiful pictures of this waterfall or having shower under the falls.

How to get Tukad Cepung Waterfall :

Located in the eastern part of Bali, precisely in Dusun Penida Kelod, Tembuku village, Bangli regency. Tukad Cepung waterfall can be reached from any tourist places such as from Ubud need about 45 minutes drive to the east or 2 hours drive from south Bali either Kuta, Legian or Seminyak area. Once you arrive on location you need to walk down trough the stairs, and pass the cliff wall before getting into the waterfall. Since there is no public transport to the waterfall, it is recommended to book your transport and possible to combine with several tourist places.

Best time to visit Tukad Cepung Waterfall :

The waterfall open for almost all day, but the best time  to visit Tukad Cepung waterfall is around  9 am as the crowds not start yet. But seems it is too early, but if you concern to get some beautiful photos in easier way come early is recommended. The waterfall starting to become a popular spot for taking pictures, so do not be surprised if you arrive by the midday will be many people trying to get their photos in the waterfall.

Entrance fee to Tukad Cepung Waterfall :

Before starting hiking down trough the stairs, you will find the ticket box where you purchase the entrance ticket which is cost at IDR 15,000 per person or about US $ 1. Once the ticket in your hand, you will start your way down the stairs. By the end of the stairs you just follow the canyon to the waterfall.
